RESIDENTIAL ARCHITECTURE
Burnaby, BC
This client was a young family that wanted a home that they could grow with, and looked to us for help with accommodating their future needs.
Project Scope
Smithcraft Architecture provided a light-filled house with a large family outdoor deck and back yard by successfully seeking a variance to the required front yard setback. This allowed for a safe and private rear play yard while maintaining the streetscape. The split roof design allows for an open cathedral ceiling and a striking form and presence on the street.
The Result
We strategically navigated the municipal zoning and delivered on a beautifully designed home that exceeded our client’s expectations and provided a secondary suite so that the client could earn a passive income to help finance their new house moving forward.
